Across the UK, carrying on a regulated activity without registration is a criminal offence — with the risk of substantial fines and, in the most serious cases, imprisonment. If your service involves the treatment of disease, disorder or injury, diagnostic or screening procedures, or surgical procedures, you very probably need to register.
